I’ve moved. But I’ve no time to settle. In two days time I go galloping across the globe to follow his passion – photography.
He calls it an adventure. Like backpacking through Europe. Only we’ll be SUVing through America. Split lives. Here and there. The excitement and the stress of it all. He’s as enthusiastic as they come. I’m scared – to death.
Of course he’ll never stay Stateside. I know this. He’s far too British for that. But there are worse things than living between two continents.
And we’re just about there. Ready to begin what both he and Gabby (age 5) calls A Really Really Big Adventure.
First, we take a detour.
“London, Paris, New York. The holiday trifecta. What do you say, darling? Shall we celebrate in style?”
The words were his. The birthday, mine. My twenties are over on Sunday. I’m going out with a bang.

Oh, that sounds like so much fun! What adventure, and I personally can’t wait to read your tales spun about this one. I love all your other stories. I hope you’re not scared long. I would love to take such a trip with the man of my dreams.

Thirty! I loved turning 30 and have to say – i love being in my 30s – SO much fun. Young enough to still have loads of fun – old enough to know better about, well, certain things

My Birthday on Tuesday fortunately I’ll still be in my 20s, but the wrong side of 25.

Where are you guys heading in the states? I recommend Montana (Glacier park, Yellowstone park, Lewis & Clark caverns, Ghost towns…)

Ok, dont tell anybody this Buffy, but I’m actually planning on flying up to New York for my 21st birthday in October. I’ve already done the whole bar and club-hopping thing and so in a way I cheated myself out of an American rite of passage. Guess it’s just that stubborn European in me…LOL! And so instead, I’ve opted to fly out and treat myself to NY as a birthday present. A friend of mine might go, but I’m not sure yet…still, if you’re planning in being in the same city at the same time as me, we should totally hook up and srounge the city together! Imagine the misadventures we could be having!Because I know one thing’s for sure…when two great people like you and I get together, wackiness ensues!
